Not connecting? Check these first
The plug will not pair - what should I check first?
Check that the plug is powered and that your phone is connected to Wi-Fi with Bluetooth turned on.
My router is dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).
Choose the 2.4 GHz network when adding the device. You may also need to turn on your router's broadcasting.
Which router settings does it need?
Set the router's encryption to WPA2-PSK with AES, or set both to auto. The wireless mode cannot be 5 GHz only. Give your Wi-Fi a name in English letters and keep the plug and router within a good distance of each other.
The router says it is full.
Check whether the router has reached its maximum number of connected devices. If so, try turning off Wi-Fi on a few devices you are not using.
The router might be blocking it.
Remove the plug from any router filter or block list, and make sure the router is not preventing new devices from connecting.
It asks for a password and fails.
Make sure the Wi-Fi password you entered is correct when adding the new device.
